A title transfer is initiated when a person is added or removed from the property ownership or title by the property owner. In general circumstances of title transfer, a homeowner can add another family member, remove a family member, or get new unrelated persons on the title. The process involves working on many documents and its best to let us know as soon as the decision to initiate the process has been taken.

Broadly, in the title transfer process, we will:

• Prepare legal documentation and get signatures of parties involved
• Review the documents for completeness and accuracy
• Perform title searches
• Obtain Title Insurance
• Register title change documents
• Intimate property tax department and the condominium management office of changes in ownership, as applicable
